Dr. Douglas Williams is Director of CILAT and an associate professor of instructional technology in the College of Education. He holds bachelor and masters degrees in computer science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He completed a doctoral degree in Instructional Technology at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Williams worked as a programmer for more than 10 years in the United States, Sweden and Australia. Dr. Yuxin Ma is an assistant professor of instructional technology in the College of Education at UL Lafayette. Dr. Ma holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature, master’s degree in school psychology, and a Ph.D. in instructional technology. Stacy Crochet holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from UL Lafayette and will complete a master's degree in computer science in Fall 2008. She has more than 5 years experience in creating web-based applications with experience in technologies such as ASP, ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Ruby on Rails. She is also an accomplished game programmer with experience in Adobe Flash using ActionScript 3.0, Garage Games' Game Builder, GameMaker, and the Torque Game Engine.

Sanchal Kunnel holds a master's degree in computer science from UL Lafayette. Sanchal has more than 5 years experience in created web-based applications with experience in techonologies such as ASP, ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Ruby on Rails and Python. Sanchal is also an accomplished game programmer with skills in Adobe Flash and Torque Game Engine.

Margaret Paine holds a bachelor's degree in fine art from the University of Texas at Austin and is owner and principle designer of ZP Graphic, located in Austin, Texas. Margaret has sixteen years of experience creating art in traditional and digital media. Her work includes graphic design, illustration, art direction, fine art, portraiture, and web design.

Yeon Choi, assistant professor in Visual Arts, teaches 3D art and animation at UL Lafayette. She has produced many works shown here in the U.S. and internationally. Yeon collaborates on concept art, 2D production art, 3D objects and 3D animation.

Guolin Lai is an instructor in the Department of Business Systems Analysis and Technology at University of Louisiana at Lafayatte. He holds a bachelor's degree in English language and literature, master's degrees in computer information systems and MBA, and a Ph.D. in instructional technology. He has several years' experience in developing Web applications and blended learning solutions.

Susan Pedersen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. She teaches graduate level classes in educational video, interface design, and computer-assisted instruction. Her research focuses on the use of technology to bring student-centered learning approaches, such as problem-based learning and student-directed inquiry, to K-12 environments.

Louise Prejean is an instructor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at UL Lafayette. She teaches undergraduate level classes in educational technology and science methods. Louise is a master teacher with more than 15 years teaching in the elementary classroom.

Charles Richard is an associate professor of English, Director of Cinematic Arts Workshop, and Research Fellow of the Center for Cultural and Eco-Tourism at UL Lafayette. The Cinematic Arts Workshop is an innovative interdisciplinary institution at UL designed to facilitate faculty and student collaboration across the curriculum in producing new works of research and creative expression in cinema. His work includes over a dozen nationally distributed documentary films, earning recognitions such as "Best Historical Documentary" at the New York Independent Film & Video Festival and the prestigious "DuPont Columbia Award," television's Pulitzer Prize.
