Saturday Science and Innovation Camp

Mar 14 and 21, 8:30 am - 11:30 am

In this maker-centered camp, children will explore highly engaging technology and engineering programs through playfulness and experimentation.  Put your questioning and tinkering skills to work as we work through design challenges that push us to collaborate and problem solve with materials ranging from toothpicks to circuits.  Join us for a morning of innovative fun!  This camp will be using the Lego Wedo 2.0 Robotics Kit, Sphero, iMovie, and Squishy Circuits.

Grades 1-2: Young Makers Camp

This highly engaging science camp will have 1st and 2nd grade children working as real scientists to observe, investigate, and discover!  We will explore topics such as geology, astronomy, engineering, architecture, biology, and physical science through hands-on experiments and problem solving.  This fast-paced experiential camp is sure to get your child excited about the science all around us!   Since each semester UL students design completely new hands-on experiences for this class, your child can attend multiple semesters.

Grades 1-2, Science Discovery Camp

This highly engaging science camp will have 4th and 5th graders working as real scientists to observe, investigate, and discover!

Grades 4-5, Advanced Science Discovery Camp

In this camp, children will develop skill in coding, building and computational thinking using the new LEGO Spike Prime robotics set.  All new challenges will give students a chance to explore robotics in a fun adventurous context.

Grades 3-5: Robotics Coding

This highly engaging science camp will have 3rd graders working as real scientists to observe, investigate, and discover!
